Dr. Neil Degrasse Tyson visited either Vanderbilt or Austin Peay State University...not sure which.  He gave this presentation.  The underlying theme is you are completely insignificant and the universe is out to kill you.

It highlights perfectly why science is typically used to refute religion, since it provides actual answers to questions long thought answered by religion.
